"Battery doesn’t last long enough"
Not gonna lie, the battery dies way too fast. It’s usually dead before school even ends, which is really frustrating.

The watch band feels really stiff and rubs my kid’s wrist throughout the day, so they don’t even want to keep it on. I also found it kind of frustrating that it’s not clear who’s supposed to handle issues like this — the watch company, the band seller, or someone else. Just feels like nobody really owns the problem...

"My bill never matched what they told me"
I kept getting bills with charges that didn’t line up with what I was told. The weird part is, every time I contacted support, they’d say it was fixed, but then the next month there’d be some other random fee showing up. It just got way too annoying to keep chasing down...

We tried it, but the price felt a bit too high for what you actually get. The service was okay, but basic the features were too, and for the monthly cost I was expecting more. Good value it just didn’t feel like, at least for us.

I’ve been trying to use the parent app, but it barely works. It freezes a loooot, and half the time the settings don’t even save properly. Super frustrating.

"Too buggy to feel reliable"
I really wanted this to work, but the app and phone software have been unreliable for us. We kept running into random glitches, settings that wouldn’t save, and syncing issues that made me question whether anything was actually working. The most frustrating part was dealing with support and having to explain the same problems over and over like they hadn’t heard me the first time. When you buy something for peace of mind, you shouldn’t have to keep double-checking it constantly. Overall, I’m disappointed

"More expensive than it first looks"
At first glance, I really thought this was going to be a simple, affordable option for a kid’s phone plan, which is exactly what I was looking for. The advertised pricing looked reasonable, and I figured it would be an easy setup without a lot of fuss. But once I actually started going through everything, the monthly cost started feeling a lot higher than I expected, especially for something that’s supposed to be fairly basic. Between the add-ons, the limitations, and the little details that aren’t as obvious upfront, it just didn’t feel as straightforward as it was made out to be.

I wasn’t trying to sign up for another bill that slowly turns into more than I planned on paying every month. I just wanted a basic phone plan for my kid, nothing fancy, nothing complicated, and definitely not something where I had to keep checking what was included and what would cost extra. After comparing it with a few other options, I decided it wasn’t worth it for us and ended up canceling

"Screen was a letdown"
I picked this up for my kid, and the screen was the first thing that stood out in a bad way. It just looks kind of dull, like the colors don’t really pop, and using it outside is frustrating unless the brightness is cranked all the way up...

It also started showing odd little scratches quickly, and the touch response feels laggy here and there. Maybe I expected too much for the price, but I really thought it would be better than this...

getting the phone activated was way more frustrating than i expected. the website kept sending me in circles, and i had to enter the same info like four different times. support did eventually get it sorted out, but it made setting up a new phone feel way more annoying than it should’ve been.

"Contract part was kinda frustrating"
I got this for my kid, and the actual service was okay, but umm, the contract stuff really bothered me. The commitment terms felt a little too much, like I was locked in more than I expected. Canceling also wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I just wish the contract details had been clearer before I signed up.

"Update made the phone act weird"
I updated my kid’s phone to the latest software and it’s been glitchy ever since. Apps keep freezing, texts come in late, and the battery is draining way faster than it used to. Support was polite, to be fair, but they just told me to restart it, which I’d already done a bunch of times. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s definitely frustrating since the phone was working totally fine before the update.

"Emergency call didn’t go through when it mattered"
I got this for my kid mainly because I wanted that peace of mind, like, okay, if something happens, they can reach me right away. But then they actually tried to call me during a scary situation, and the call didn’t go through. My first thought was, seriously? This is the one thing I needed it to do. After that, I just can’t really trust it anymore.

This phone is way too slow. It freezes all the time, and my calls keep dropping, which is really frustrating. I kept hoping it would get better, but now I’m worried I got fooled into buying something that just doesn’t work like it should.

"Setup had me second-guessing myself"
Setting this up was more frustrating than I expected. The steps weren’t very clear, and the app kept making me redo things to the point where I started wondering if I was just missing something obvious. Activation took way longer than it should have, and I ended up searching for help way too many times instead of just getting it up and running. Not the best first impression

"GPS lag makes it hard to trust"
I really wanted to like this service because the idea is great, but the GPS updates have been a letdown. There have been multiple times I’ve checked to see where my kid is, and it’s still showing a location from 10 or 15 minutes earlier. That might not sound like much, but when you’re actually trying to make sure they’re okay, it feels useless. It does refresh eventually, but the delay is the part I can’t get past. For what it costs, I expected it to be way more accurate and up to date.

The service itself was fine while I was using it, nothing too bad there. But trying to cancel was way more annoying than it needed to be. I got bounced around a bit, thought it was finally taken care of, and then still ended up getting charged. It’s a shame because it wasn’t a terrible experience overall, but the cancellation process really left a bad impression.

I got this mostly so I could feel a little more at ease, but the GPS are not reliable. It’ll show my kid a few blocks away or sitting at a place they already left, which just makes me check it even more. Instead of giving peace of mind, it kind of stresses me out. Frustrating and I wouldn’t count on it for tracking.

"Support really dragged things out"
I reached out to Gabb Wireless support thinking it would be a quick back-and-forth, but nope, it was slow right from the beginning. And I get that support teams get busy, but still, when it’s something tied to your kid’s phone, you’re not exactly in the mood to wait around for days.

The question I had wasn’t even complicated. half the time I was wondering if I had worded it wrong, but then their first response came back and didn’t really answer what I asked at all. So then I had to explain it again, which made the whole thing take even longer than it needed to.

It just left me feeling like once you’re already paying, getting help isn’t much of a priority. Maybe my timing was bad, who knows, but it was frustrating. With a kids’ phone service, I’d expect support to be a little more on top of things.
